The Bells on Virgin Mary

The bells on virgin Mary
Ringing in faith for you
Pulling you up from misery
The dark and mucky doom.

The bells on virgin Mary
Her quiet eyes say mercy
You have more than most have
You live beyond plenty.

The angels sent for Mary
To guide her to a safe place
To rest from the wicked world
If only you could find safety.

You can't give in
You can't give without
You want to feel something devout.

This evening landscape holds the steeples in crimson and purple.
The distant choir opens the organs-throat-as you cast out your solemn-
Boat upon some longing of faith.
