The words you write the love you shared
The last despair the hearts of care
The fear you felt
The prayers you knelt
All that was spelled out
From what you meant

To say

No one will hear you sing when you are gone.

So here is this song before it
Vanishes from this living dream
It started with a babies scream
From When you were born

The days you walked
To the places in this world unknown
Even if you felt alone

No one will hear you sing when you are gone

The first time you were touched
The first kiss that made you tremble
All the emotion shaking in the middle

The joy in laughter and all the feelings after

No one will hear you sing when you are gone

So you craft the words from the courage well deserved
The nerve that raced through the pulse
The compassion and self doubt
And still it was not enough
To express on the important pages

The ageless longing of the song

No one will hear you sing when you are gone

Your hatred was hotter than the sun
Your sadness was an empty river
You could not float along
Your fragile moments were composed of slings and arrows
From the wide absent depths
To the narrow point of views
Clenched in the marrow
No one will hear you sing when you are gone

Now you are here singing at a friends
Funeral
Someone that once remained in the
Mystery of the glory of the daybreak
How much will it take you to rise on the stairs
Be the sunrise and the moon
And take off your shoes
And feel the earth for all it's worth
And write a song to help others

Feel they truly belong

No one will hear you sing when you are gone.
