My friend Patrick tells me he’s going to have a forest bath in the tree shadows

with his cousin.
Recharging in nature ions

In radio frequency.

As I sit under a Palm Springs

Vapour trail sky

At the mercy

Of a Man made waterfall

My paradise

Reflected in a map

Convex Table magnifier

So I don’t cave inside.

Hummingbird friend perched on the same yucca

The Effortless wings

Curving outward

Slicing oblivion away.

The pools umbrellas are all closed

The chairs empty

Except for me

Hidden between the luxury of others destinies

Outdoor Pavilion in the shade

Shelterless on the

edge of escapism

We truly feel what we bring

Bathing in moss and mist
