The Flash of sunshine on the pavement
The blush wine shared at the gazebo
The limbo of shadows on the tree line
The blind longing of the fortunate
Souls wrapped in warm bread
Insides like a torn paper bag.

The beggar selling furniture for
Soup or spoons
On the street corner
Beside the lamppost

The most
You might learn
If you held the wise
To the lights on the

Shrouds.

Clouds above continue to turn
Tempting dreamers
Trying to find freedom
In the phoenix.

Beauty had a place at the escapist
Wheel turning

While an angel appears for a child
And brought
The doll face to life.
