Cindy Ansah is a dance artist and emerging choreographer residing in Mohkinstsis (Calgary) on Treaty 7 Territory. Cindy is currently embarking on her final year of study in the BFA in Dance program at the University of Calgary where she passionately multidisciplinary collaboration. Her choreography has been presented in the IGNITE! Festival for Emerging Artists and Fluid Fest: Physical Therapy Cabaret with repertoire provided for Calgary Core Contemporaries. Cindy’s recent endeavours include fulfilling her role as Dance Artist with Woezo Africa Music & Dance Theatre Inc. and engaging in site-specific dance research as an assistant to Dr. Melanie Kloetzel. Cindy is also venturing into writing and dance journalism having her work featured on The Dance Current, Springboard Performance, and Alberta Dance Alliance platforms.
